Juvasonic® provides a gentle, needle-free method of delivering topical exosomes, making it a suitable option for many patients with active acne.
Juvasonic® is often recommended by Dr Tom for rosacea-prone skin because it delivers topical exosomes gently, without creating additional irritation that may trigger flare-ups.
For skin prone to ongoing breakouts, Juvasonic® provides even delivery of topical exosomes across the treatment area, helping achieve consistent coverage without disrupting active blemishes.
Patients with persistent facial redness often prefer Juvasonic® when a gentler approach to skin rejuvenation is recommended.
Patients with sensitive skin often appreciate Juvasonic® because the treatment requires little downtime and avoids the discomfort associated with more invasive delivery methods.
Juvasonic® can be incorporated with selected skin treatments to enhance their effects. Its gentle, needle-free approach complements a range of treatment plans while improving comfort and boosting recovery.
Suitability is determined during your consultation. Every patient’s skin is different, and not all treatments are appropriate for every condition.
People with sensitive or inflamed skin often hesitate to pursue skin rejuvenation treatments because many procedures can temporarily increase redness, irritation or downtime.
At LookFresh, Dr Tom may recommend Juvasonic® for suitable patients with concerns such as acne, rosacea-prone skin and other inflammatory skin conditions where a gentler approach is preferred.
Unlike microneedling, Juvasonic® does not use needles or create controlled injury within the skin. Instead, it uses high-frequency acoustic technology to temporarily increase skin permeability, allowing topical exosomes or NCTF to be delivered more evenly across the treatment area.
For patients whose skin is easily irritated, this provides a gentle alternative that supports skin rejuvenation while avoiding many of the challenges associated with more invasive delivery methods.

Microneedling is an excellent treatment for many patients, we offer and love microneedling, but it is not always the most appropriate option.
Because microneedling deliberately creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin, it commonly produces temporary redness, inflammation and irritation during the healing process. While this response forms part of the treatment, it may not be ideal for every skin type.
For patients with acne, rosacea-prone skin or skin that is already inflamed, Dr Tom will often recommend Juvasonic® instead.
Juvasonic® increases skin permeability using high-frequency acoustic energy rather than needles, allowing topical exosomes to be distributed evenly across the skin without creating controlled injury. This makes it a valuable option when a gentler delivery method is clinically preferred.
The skin’s outermost layer, known as the stratum corneum, acts as a protective barrier. While this barrier is essential for retaining moisture and protecting against external irritants, it also limits the penetration of many topical skincare ingredients.
Juvasonic® uses patented high-frequency acoustic technology to temporarily increase skin permeability, enhancing the penetration of topical exosomes without disrupting the skin through needles or controlled injury. This allows the exosomes to be distributed more evenly across the treatment area, promoting consistent delivery of topical actives over the entire treatment surface.
Unlike delivery methods that rely on creating thousands of microscopic channels, Juvasonic® works by gently increasing permeability while maintaining the integrity of the skin barrier. This makes it particularly well suited to patients with sensitive, reactive or inflamed skin where more invasive delivery methods may not be appropriate.
By improving both the penetration and uniform distribution of topical exosomes, Juvasonic® provides a comfortable, needle-free method of skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.

Consultation
Your appointment begins with a consultation with Dr Tom or one of our experienced clinicians to discuss your skin concerns, medical history and treatment goals. We’ll determine whether Juvasonic® is an appropriate option for your skin.
Skin Assessment & Baseline Photography
Your skin will be carefully assessed, including any areas of redness, sensitivity, acne or inflammation. We also take baseline photographs using our state-of-the-art skin analyser, this allows us to assess your skin in greater detail before treatment and track changes in tone, texture and overall skin quality over time.
Cleansing
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove makeup, sunscreen and surface impurities before treatment begins.
Exosome (or NCTF) Application
A topical exosome serum is applied evenly across the treatment area, ready for delivery using the Juvasonic® device.
Juvasonic® Treatment
The Juvasonic® handpiece is gently moved across the skin, using high-frequency acoustic technology to temporarily increase skin permeability and assist with the even delivery of topical exosomes. The treatment is comfortable and does not involve needles or controlled skin injury.
Aftercare
Following treatment, your clinician will provide personalised aftercare instructions to help you care for your skin. Most patients can return to their normal daily activities shortly after their appointment.
Minimal Downtime
Because Juvasonic® does not rely on needles or controlled skin injury, downtime is typically minimal. Some patients may experience mild temporary redness immediately after treatment, but this generally settles quickly.
⸻
Patients having a Juvasonic® treatment with exosomes can choose to add copper peptides to their treatment formulation.
Copper peptides combine copper with short chains of amino acids. They are used in advanced skincare to support the skin’s natural renewal processes and complement the skin-conditioning benefits of exosomes. This upgrade may be considered by patients wanting additional support for the appearance of skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality.
The exosomes and copper peptides are applied topically and infused using Juvasonic for needle-free transdermal delivery. This enhances their delivery without microneedling or controlled skin injury, making the treatment suitable for many patients with sensitive skin and those seeking a gentle approach with minimal downtime.
Your clinician will assess your skin and advise whether the copper peptide upgrade is appropriate for your individual concerns.

Yes. Unlike microneedling, Juvasonic® does not rely on needles or controlled skin injury, making it suitable for many patients with active acne. Suitability is always assessed during your consultation.
Many patients with rosacea-prone skin are looking for skin rejuvenation treatments that minimise additional irritation. Dr Tom frequently recommends Juvasonic® when a gentler delivery method is appropriate.
Microneedling intentionally creates controlled injury within the skin. While appropriate for many patients, those with inflamed or reactive skin may benefit from an alternative delivery method such as Juvasonic.
Most patients experience little to no downtime, although your clinician will discuss what you can expect based on your individual skin.

Your sensitive skin treatment experience depends on more than the technology alone. At LookFresh, treatment is delivered within a doctor-led cosmetic medical clinic that prioritises careful skin assessment, planning and ongoing support for sensitive, reactive and rosacea-prone skin.
